  1. Like that you show the date filmed in your description and that you show your approximate location in your intro. From your attire, we can get a reasonable estimate of the temperature during the day. Do you keep track of the low temperature at night?

  2. This was one of my favorite trips! I loved seeing this beautiful area and especially enjoyed all your "history lessons". Your drone footage was spectacular, and, I know I have mentioned before, I love your music in the background. Another spectacular episode, Tristan! Thank you!

  3. Not sure if you're familiar with it but there is a show called Expedition Unknown and he does an episode about that Bannack sheriff you were talking about and his missing treasure. Knew i recognized that place 😃 great video as always. I can't imagine how much patience it takes to get all the outside footage of you driving and then going back to get your camera. Drone footage of the car driving from above is pretty sweet too.

  4. I loved exploring inside the empty old houses. It felt like I was walking right behind you, hoping nobody would jump out and scare the daylights out of us! You really have a knack for showing us places in a way that makes us feel like we’re really there.

I’ve never seen charcoal burners before, though I’ve heard of them. Thanks.

I’m so glad you opted out of hiking in the fire smoke. That stuff is incredibly toxic to breathe.

  5. That was fun. I've seen several videos of people going to both the ghost towns you went too. It's pretty in the summer. I don't know much about how the drone works, but how do you get the footage of the drone showing you driving? Have you every done any of the hikes on Antelope Island in Utah? Sometime in the spring, they do a buffalo round up where they thin the herd. I've never seen it, but my parents have and they say it's awesome.

  6. What a fantastic video! Your videography and ability to relay information is better than most I’ve seen on dedicated travel TV shows! Keep taking us with you for as long as possible please. Kudos!

  7. thanks for sharing Tristan, I enjoyed the most: seeing you again after a week's hiatus; seeing the drone videos of your Cruiser cruising those remote roads, the music in the vicinity of 12:50 particularly, and your commentary and videos, all of it. (I have been looking at your old videos, starting at the beginning, you have progressed tremendously, in photographic skill, editing skill, and your are much more articulate and personable. Congratulations, and thanks for your efforts.

  8. Do you carry bear spray as you walk Montana.? I was in that area 2 years ago and I did. Sure this has been asked, really curious though.

  9. I was waiting for the "alot of people believe in conspiracies but the core of freemasonry is charitable donations" bull crap people regurgitate

  10. "Dry and arid and not much of anything there" sounds amazing there's no undisciplined liberal monster children screaming and not following the old rule of being seen and not heard.

  11. Thru your channel, I have rediscovered my original plans for my retierment. Simple and basic/ modest creature comforts for the open road for traveling the US of A. Thank you! But Those refrigerators looked circa 1980's. Just a thought.

  12. Well shot vlog. The road shots to the drone road shots really convey the beauty of the landscape. Glad your enjoying the new rig & its giving you some added flexibility for routes to explore. Do you use Gaia already? Hoping you can make it back to the RH spot again or perhaps another place may present itself.
Safe Journeys & Be Well tfs

  13. Thanks for the video. I enjoy visiting Ghost Towns also. Don't worry about your lines. I sleep with a CPAP and I have lines on my face every morning.

  14. They are probably removing those tree's because I think there were 3 or 4 people killed by tree's falling on them while camping. Can't remember where. It was 2 different episodes and one included a small child.

  15. It’s a VHF repeater. The Forest Service operates many of them. Frequencies are usually somewhere around 170 MHz.

  16. Another awesome video. Always appreciate the historical references. Sorry for the loss of your dad.
