I’ve heard that around Sugamo station there were a lot of elderly people hanging out, but always thought it was a joke. I happened to stumble upon the area one weekend, and was shocked to find it was actually true! The streets were filled with the most elderly people I’ve seen in one place…ever! The stores had many old traditional Japanese foods and spices, along with relics of the past, such as music cassette tapes. The place is even famous for their locally renown “lucky red underwear” 🤔

  10. EXPANDING UNIVERSE.
    IN HOLY QUR'AN
    SCIENTIFIC MIRACLE OF
    HOLY QUR'AN

ALMIGHTY ALLAH THE MASTER CREATOR CHALLANGED THE MANKIND

Who can tell 1450 years ago that
    the universe is expanding?

والسماء بنينها بايد و انا لموسعون o

" And the heaven We built it with power, and indeed, We are the expander "
(And We it is Who make the vast extent, thereof )
    (Qur'an, 51:47)

Until 1931, physicist Albert Einstein believed that the universe was static. An urban legend attributes this change of perspective to when American astronomer Edwin Hubble showed Einstein his observations of redshift in the light emitted by far away nebulae – today known as galaxies.

After Hubble discovered that the universe was expanding, Einstein called the cosmological constant his "greatest blunder."

At around the same time, larger telescopes were being built that were able to accurately measure the spectra, or the intensity of light as a function of wavelength, of faint objects.
Almighty Allah is the Master Creator of the whole universe. He says:

Should He not know what He created? And He is the Subtile, the Aware.
The knowledge of scientists is very limited to understand the universe.

Rejection of Almighty Allah relying on this limited knowledge is not justified.

    China spacecraft lands on moon
to bring rocks back to Earth

BEIJING (AP) — A Chinese spacecraft sent to return lunar rocks to Earth collected its first samples Wednesday after landing on the moon, on Tuesday, the government announced, adding to a string of successes for Beijing’s increasingly ambitious space program.

The Chang’e 5 probe touched down shortly after 11 p.m. (1500 GMT) on Tuesday after descending from an orbiter, the China National Space Administration said. It released images of the barren scene at the landing site showing the lander’s shadow.

“Chang’e has collected moon samples,” the agency said in a statement carried by the official Xinhua News Agency. It said the probe also had successfully unfolded solar panels that will power it.

The probe, launched Nov. 24 from the tropical southern island of Hainan, is the latest venture by a Chinese space program that sent its first astronaut into orbit in 2003, has a spacecraft en route to Mars and aims eventually to land a human on the moon.

Plans call for the lander to spend about two days drilling into the lunar surface and collecting 2 kilograms (4.4 pounds) of rocks and debris. The top stage of the probe will be launched back into lunar orbit to transfer the samples to a capsule for return to Earth, where it is to land in China’s northern grasslands in mid-December.

If it succeeds, it will be the first time scientists have obtained fresh samples of lunar rocks since a Soviet probe in the 1970s. Those samples are expected to be made available to scientists from other nations.

From the rocks and debris, scientists hope to learn more about the moon, including its precise age, as well as increased knowledge about other bodies in our solar system. Collecting samples, including from asteroids, is an increasing focus of many space programs and China’s mastery of the technology once again places it among the leading nations operating in space.

“Congratulations to China on the successful landing of Chang’e 5. This is no easy task,” wrote NASA’s science mission chief, Thomas Zurbuchen, on Twitter.

“When the samples collected on the Moon are returned to Earth, we hope everyone will benefit from being able to study this precious cargo that could advance the international science community.”
