While I came to Nagano for Ogawa village I still stopped at Nagano for a weekend night. I came back to Nagano city around 5pm and had time for another walk at night Nagano.
I walked from Nagano station eastern side to the other side, then turned to the north. I walked around Gondo station and Zenkoji temple. In the end I walked to Zenkojishita station. Found a lot of narrow back alleys.
But no cats were found 😿

  1. I see you've done in Shinagawa before, but have you considered specifically covering Sengakuji and the Takanawa area?

  2. I really like steady light like Night walk in Shinjuku, Tokyo video ! Thank Ram

  3. at 1:55 i imagined myself , just like you , come up near a bay window with those so Japanese lights and stores around, from France with all my stuff , for the first time. It's been so long i want to go there, my heart beats faster just thinking about it. For me your videos are not just " show Japan to other people ". I really appreciate them at their fullest, each little street, each station, each park, each people saying hi with a smile to your camera, is what i always wanted to see with my own eyes. Your country is maybe closed, but you give some material to make me wait with more serenity. My plans changed thanks of your videos too, i want to go to some places instead of " classic " ones i had planned to go when the covid-19 bursted out juste because of you.
That's how your stuff is important to me! Thank you always

  4. I can’t express how grateful I am for your videos! It accompany me whenever I’m lonely and sick (like right now haha)
    Thanks for the hard work!

  5. Hey Rambalac. Really love your content. I have a question: when you do your nightwalks one can see lightstars in the headlights of the cars or the lights on the street. For me as a photographer this means that you shoot at a higher aperture. Can you share some settings of your nightwalks? Aperture, Shutterspeed and ISO? Just curious because I can hardly see some noise in your videos. Keep up your work and greetings from Austria.

  6. It drives my American brain crazy when he waits for the pedestrian crossing signal at streets that are only like, 10 feet wide with absolutely no cars or people coming.
I know Japanese people do that a lot and I totally agree that it's the smarter, safer thing to do, especially at night, but when there's obviously not a soul around for hundreds of feet I can't help but feel like, "c'mon just cross it."

  7. Love the passing guy who called out "YouTuber!" around 35-36 minutes in, lol!

  8. That sign on the right hand side at 1:03:31. This is a swastika. The german symbol for "Nazi" and Hitler, responsible for the second world war. I think, it's not so good, when you show it.

  9. Me encantan los videos de noche!!!! Todo se ve más tranquilo,se pueden escuchar a los grillos.👍👍👍😃😃😃

  10. One thing that stands out to me right away is how legitimately clean the public spaces are, even the smaller side streets and back alleys are relatively clean. I love that level of respect for public space, we could really do with a little bit of that mentality here in the US.

  11. 35:30 A man who rejoices like when he discovered Pokemon by saying "Ah, YouTuber!"

  12. The last 1/3rd of this video is particularly magical. It's these kind of walks that will always hold a special place in my heart, until the very end. Thank you Rambalac <3

  13. While some late evening walks are interesting; IMHO this one would have been more interesting at an hour in which the shops are still open.
