  1. What about cheese? You know, the famous Gouda cheese from St. Maarten that everybody wants? LOL In 2010 we were told inside the cruise that all cheese must be sealed in their original package otherwise it would get confiscated. Nobody could cut a piece out of it before getting out of port. This year I didn't hear anything on that topic, tho.

  2. Hi guys! I am going on my first cruise next month. I didn’t know you have to declare purchases? Thanks for the info. I am used to going to Caribbean via airlines. Mexico now is checking luggage right in front of you . The lady was so rough so busted my toothpaste and deodorant stick! I was livid because they really mark up those things buying them at the resorts. Again, thank you for your videos! I so enjoy them 😀

  3. We were on the Getaway last year and did not have to fill out a declaration when we arrived back at Miami. We asked and were told we did not need one. Does this depend on where you went?

  4. I never had a form and customs never asked me about anything about stuff i had or money. He asked if i enjoyed my trip and what i went to mexico for. I told him it was a girls trip with 52 women.

  5. Great advice!
It's always a little nerve-wracking when you're going through customs and security, best just to be honest and your conscience will be clear 😊🍁

  6. I once got asked why I was sweating. I had just stood in the sun outside the terminal in 102 degree heat.

  7. Thank you for the video. I was wondering about customs. First cruise in October!! Should you have all your purchases in your backpack or is it okay to put them in your suitcase?

  8. The customs officers in Galveston take there sweet ass time . asking too many questions like your a criminal or just acting. Like family how waa your trip. Blah blah.. Wtf but in new orleans it was very fast.

  9. Drives me WILD when idiots get up to the front of a line anywhere – be it Customs, a grocer store (like Frank said), or a fast food counter, and THEN start digging for hat they need, or start looking at the menu. Where did you think you were going, for God's sake? Out for a Sunday stroll, where nothing is required of you? And do you think all these thousands of other passengers i here are supposed to wait for YOU????!! ROTFL and "Ewwwww" at all of your stories!

Thank you both for who yo are and what you do. Big hugs to you, CiCi, and Delilah!! 🙂

  10. Hey Kevin and Frank!! I'm fresh out of the hospital after a 5-day "stint" in the old "med jail' and u have no idea how much i was feening for your videos! My phone was dead and ik didnt havke my computer. Long story but i digress. Anyhoo, after i got out, i watched this video and wanted to ask: If u buy a piece of art (which I'm thinking can cost a few hundred dollars or more) does that purchase count in your $800 (or whatever the limit may be at the time you go) purchase limit? I want to be able to buy souvenirs from the countries that I'm going to but my main purchase will probably be a piece of art that I will probably have shipped to my home. Or does the declaration include only items you bring off of the ship through the airport? Great video as always!!

  11. How does customs know what is your personal belongings? I'm unsure I'm buying anything on the cruise and would certainly declare anything I bought but how do they know what is purchased and what is not? I don't want to get in trouble.

    Sincerely,
    Has a butt-ton of anxiety
