  1. Thanks for another great adventure you guys. Btw the kusa dango are made with yomogi( mugwort) which gives it the green color.

  2. Just saw you both on Gimmeabreakman, Two and a Half Oyaji's live stream, and was excited to see you again. Somehow, I lost track of your channel (?) about 6 years ago, so now I'll binge watch from where I left off and catch up to your current posts. You both look the same, haven't aged at all.
I started watching your channel when you were driving and sleeping in your car traveling in the U.S.
Looking forward to watching you again and thank you for sharing your life with us.
    Peggy from Los Angeles, CA

  3. The Katsu looked good. The scream was a highlight ☺️🀣 Thanks Kyde

  4. Gosh that drink sounds like I'd be sleeping in a corner passed out. Im a very light weight with alcohol. Those zodiac statues were amazing!!! Love your videosπŸ™‚

  5. Loved the cute doggy with the blinking lights on it's collar lol

  6. Since it is Eric's birthday next month, if i am not mistaken, cab you do Tokyo Disneyland 2021 version and vlog their foods as well? πŸ€—πŸ™

  7. Loving the local trips. … interested to know the general attitude towards incarceration there if their detention centers are relatively integrated in that way. …also DOG … that statue… year of the dog (before boar/pig)… πŸ˜œπŸ™πŸΌβœ¨πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜Š

  8. Shibamata is famous for the very popular Sowa Era movie Tora-san Series γ€Žη”·γ―γ€γ‚‰γ„γ‚ˆ=It is hard to be a man』. They made two movies a year, one for summer, one for New Year for 20 years from 1969-1989 until the lead actor died. (32:00 is the Tora-san Stature)
Kameari is famous for the very popular Manga series γ€Žγ“γ‘γ‚‰θ‘›ι£ΎεŒΊδΊ€ζœ‰ε…¬εœ’ε‰ζ΄Ύε‡Ίζ‰€οΌHere, Police station in front of Kameari Park in Katsushika Ward』published from 1976-2016. The longest comic series published. (0:22 are the Manga Charactors)
Most of Japanese people know the name Katsushika for that reason. Also Katsushika Hokusai was born this area in Edo Era.
Not as upper class but as working class area in history.

  9. @9:30 … didn't recognize it at 1st (thought it was an apartment complex or hospital), but once you got closer ( @9:48 ) i recognized it right away.
it's the same place that Carlos Ghosn (former CEO of Nissan & chairman/CEO of a bunch of other companies) was held & charged w/ financial misconduct a few years ago.
also, @12:00 … not a "satellite dish" . it's a helipad for helicopters. most government buildings in Asia have them, as do many high-rises.

random notes b/c y'all definitely need to go there when everything is open …
β€’ @28:38 behind the bridge is an amazing 2 story wooden carved structure. i think y'all get there too late (they close around 4PM? 3PM?).
    [ 360 view of what it looks like inside … 2ndFloor : https://goo.gl/maps/o2FPbpBFgZM8kpJ57 1st Floor : https://goo.gl/maps/iPgJq1emHwqLkFAm9 ]
β€’ @28:45 that tree, w/ the support branches that stretch out in front of the temple, is a (nearly) 500 year old tree, & an official Tokyo landmark/monument.
β€’ @31:45 if you thought that was cool, you need to see the store it's attached too. it's an old-school 1980s candy/toy/retro-game store.
β€’ @32:00 that's Tora-san from the "Otoko wa Tsurai yo" film series. i think some of the sires was filmed in a few of those shops you passed. it holds the Guinness World RecordΒ for the longest-running movie series (starring a single actor) – there were like 50 sequels. you can find a more proper statue near Shibamata Station .

  10. Love your channel! So hard with Covid, not being able to travel abroad which is of-course a lot of what you guys do. Always look forward to every upload!!!

  11. Katsushika seems to have a lot of cool areas if you explore a bit. I always think of it as the home of Toro-san (aka that dude Kyde high-fived).That temple at night looked amazing; not creepy at all. I think I could watch that dancing lion machine for hours. The Menchi restaurant had a great atmosphere and looks worth checking out.
