  1. Every single person I personally know who has gone on a cruise in the past 6 weeks have all come home with Covid so this seems to come at an awkward time, but heck I came home with the worst respiratory cold ever that took me a month to get over and that was before Covid! So I guess, just resign myself to the fact its more likely than not that I'm going to come home sick 🤷‍♀️ Expect the worst, but take all the precautions and hope for the best! 😷😁🤞🙏

  2. To be fair a cruise ship is one of the easiest places to spread any illness.

  3. Yay finally I can take my family on a cruise without them being vaccinated. Thank you for sharing this info can't wait to hear some more about it.

  4. I won’t cruise until both CREWS and GUESTS are not mandated to test, jab, mask, segregate –
They are trying to condition us into thinking we can get our freedoms back if we jump for their hoops- but if you have to jump through a hoop it’s not a freedom- it’s a submission training reward.

  5. If there's no exemption letter, how can one ensure he/she won't be denied boarding on embarkation day if the 20% is surpassed? How is it tracked?

  6. We heard that Royal Caribbean would not be requiring vax starting Aug 8th so I called two days ago and confirmed that it is true for most sailings. I immediatley booked a cruise for Aug 29 from FL to Bahamas 4 nights. Today I was hearing mixed information in the comment section under a post on Royals Facebook page so I called again this morning and had someone look up my specific booking and confirmed that it is true that I will not need a vax to sail just a negative test. This afternoon I decided to call AGAIN because there is still alot of mixed information going around and now their Healthy Sail page is worded different than it was yesterday. It use to mention that after the 8th they would be allowing more unvaccinated guests to sail, now it does not say that. It also stated testing requirments for "unvaccinated guests" and now it says "unvaccinated children"…. Again, a rep looked up my booking and confirmed that I will not need a vax. I also asked if I would need to fill out an exemption and I was told No, they are not doing exepmtions anymore so that would not be needed. I had asked so many questions that she decided to double check all of it with her supervisor who also confirmed all to be true. However, I just saw a response on Facebook from Royal Caribbean to someone else stating that "Recent announcements indicate possible change to vaccination requirements, but those are unchanged as of now." Their website still does not reflect these changes clearly either. So it is still very confusing. I will keep calling as it gets closer.

  7. I have called RC THREE times in the past 48 hours. I have received THREE different answers regarding this updated protocol. One agent even told me that unvaccinated individuals COULD NOT BOARD. Unbelievable. My final payment is due & I can’t get a clear answer. One said I need a PCR test. My pharmacy says 3-5 working days for the result…this won’t fit their timeline, especially for a cruise from San Juan. Please RC. MAKE YOUR REPRESENTATIVES MORE INFORMED. GUESS I will CANCEL since I can’t get a solid answer. Frustrating to say the least! ROYAL CARIBBEAN can you give me a true explanation! 2 of us are vaccinated. 2 are not. One representative asked, ‘why aren’t your friends vaccinated?’ Unbelievable.

  8. Is it true they are back peddling on the unvaccination part of the protocol? I cruise out of Galveston with Mexico really being our only port(Majority of cruises). I cant see how Cozumel would require a vaccine.

  9. They need to stop the testing for ALL cruises ASAP. It's ridiculous infact always has been. It's stressful, expensive and serves no purpose.

  10. Hi, We sail out of Vancouver next month, fly in from the UK on the Wednesday, sail on the Friday. Anyone know where in Vancouver can do pre cruise PCR tests?

  11. Just got back you will catch the new Covid it spreads to easy , we caught it onboard. If someone pretty much coughs or clears there throat they have it. So expect to get it regardless

  12. I know more vaccinated and booster shots person who's had covid then people who are not vaccinated. As a barber I see so many clients. Concluding my own data. I'm sure business like curise limes will eventually suffer its just time will tell.

  13. Funny how the propaganda machine makes it seem like the "unvaxed" are the problem when whole jabbed cruises still come back with the Rona

  14. Note to self: Take no trips on cruise if unvax are allowed. We who took time off from work to get vax/boosters its like slap in the face to allow unvax aboard …
Really?!? Do u think we are that stupid? Why not have a boat just for the vax ppl and a boat for unvax. So when the unvax get hit with covid all of em can be sick all together. Oh well, back to the backyard vacay ⛱

  15. All my family members that have had all their boosters all caught Covid twice, and not lightly…covid case of staying in bed for a week, some only recovering a couple of months after. I find absurd for the vaccinated that also could be covid positive not get tested. These guidelines make no sense, and this is why I have not been in a cruise since 2020.
