The Keihanshin metropolitan area includes Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe. 30 km west of Osaka, Kobe is Japan’s 6th largest city, a nuclear-free zone located on the southern side of the main island of Honshu, and one of the first Japanese cities to open its ports to foreign trade.
