I was visiting Kansai area (Kyoto – Nara – Osaka – Kobe).
And this time, I was in Kyoto specifically Nishiki Market – one of the popular place to visit in Kyoto and it is famous for its street food.

So I did a quick street food tour around Nishiki Market, and here are some of the unique/interesting/delicious food that I found!
1. 七味味煎餅 – Sichimi Senbei
A Japanese rice cracker with seven spices.
¥140 (~$1.30)
2. 豆乳ドーナツ – Tōnyu Donatsu (Soy milk Donuts)
Small donuts made from soy milk.
¥300 (~$2.70)
3. 卵焼き – Tamagoyaki (Rolled Omelette)
Japanese Omelette – a very thick and fluffy omelette.
¥324 (~$2.90)
4. たこたまご – Takotamago (Egg stuffed – Octopus)
Skewed octopus stuffed with a quail egg.
¥250 (~$2.30)
5. 湯葉クリームコロッケ – Yuba Kurimu Korokke (Soymilk skin & Cream Croquette)
Croquette with soy milk skin and cream.
¥310 (~$2.80)
6. 苺サンド – Ichigo Sando (Strawberry Sandwich)
Strawberry and cream sandwich.
