Shin Nihonkai Ferry Yuukari (新日本海フェリー ゆうかり) is Japan’s overnight ferry that operate from Tsuruga to Tomakomai-Higashi, Hokkaido (敦賀→苫小牧). It has various class seats from the cheap rooms like capsule hotel to the luxury suite rooms (カプセルホテルルーム/スイートルーム).

I boarded from Niigata Port this time. It takes about 18 hours from Niigata to Tomakomai (新潟→苫小牧).

This cruise is recommended for those who want to travel in their own car or who like boat trips.
