Ober Gatlinburg has the only officially scheduled Octoberfest party events that I’m aware of in the world. Join us in the Smoky Mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee as we take the Ober Gatlinburg tram ride up to their mountain top location to enjoy the Oktoberfest celebrations and the many other attractions that are offered at Ober Gatlinburg. We feast on some Octoberfest food and as we enjoy our German food we also sample some German bier. Ober Gatlinburg is one of the top attractions that the Smokey Mountains Tennessee offers for a good reason as they offer a LOT. In this episode of our Gatlinburg Tennessee vlog we also are meeting my old pal Major for some Octoberfest fun at Ober Gatlinburg, TN. NOLA GENT also has to say a bittersweet goodbye in this episode.

  1. I don't know what i love the most, Oktoberfest food, beer or music. We loved Gatlinburg. No German beer in the beer hall?!?! Agreed, you can never have enough cabbage. what a fun video.

  2. Great to see Gatlinburg again. Back when I was in my late teens, I went on a trip with my German neighbors through Mississippi, Tennessee, and Kentucky on our way to Ohio. Our best stop was Gatlinburg for a little Skiing. I will always remember the authenticity of that German town and taking the Tram up to the top of the mountains. I was amazed to look down from the tram to see 2 Sun Bears playing around in the wooded area below. And I'd never seen that before so it will always remember that. It is definitely a beautiful place. Too bad I didn't get to do the Oktoberfest there…but, we had a lot to do otherwise. Great video. – The Commodore
