We leave for the airport and drop off grandma at her international airport back to Chicago. Initially we thought we would be able to get into the terminal as it was detailed as all the same online. Without an international boarding pass, we were not allowed to enter.
Bernard and I ended up dropping her off with an airport employee and then headed to our domestic airport to fly to Osaka. The flight we booked was with ANA by points and it was free!
We arrived in Osaka an hour later and was delayed. We quickly ran for a transport to Kyoto which we were very lucky to find and then the JR train station. By then our camera batteries had both been dead so we were unable to film.
All of this was for a special reservation at 9PM. To be continued…

I remember…the hectic moments 😉
I can't believe you guys had the energy to film your experience at the airport and transport. Whenever I'm on the move like that I like to be very introvertive and just catch up on my reading. I would never even think to crack out my camera and start filming like this. Props to you guys for filming your crazy experience.
Glad you got some family time on your travels! So nice!
Wedee I love the way you relish saying 'Osaka'! It's awesome! Kyoto has to be the best city in Japan to visit. Thanks for sharing
