About Qatar Airways (from Wikipedia):
Qatar Airways Company Q.C.S.C. (Arabic: Ψ§ΩΩΨ·Ψ±ΩΨ©, al-QaαΉariya), operating as Qatar Airways, is the state-owned flag carrier airline of Qatar. Headquartered in the Qatar Airways Tower in Doha, the airline operates a hub-and-spoke network, flying to over 150 international destinations across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Oceania from its base at Hamad International Airport, using a fleet of more than 200 aircraft. Qatar Airways Group employs more than 43,000 people. The carrier has been a member of the Oneworld alliance since October 2013, the first Persian Gulf carrier to sign with one of the three major airline alliances.
Boeing 777-300ER (from Wikipedia):
The Boeing 777, commonly referred to as the Triple Seven, is an American long-range wide-body airliner developed and manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. It is the world’s largest twinjet. The 777 was designed to bridge the gap between Boeing’s other wide body airplanes, the twin-engined 767 and quad-engined 747, and to replace older DC-10s and L-1011 trijets. Developed in consultation with eight major airlines, with a first meeting in January 1990, the program was launched in October, with an order from United Airlines. The prototype was rolled out in April 1994, and first flew in June. The 777 entered service with the launch customer, United Airlines, in June 1995. Longer range variants were launched in 2000, and were first delivered in 2004.
The 777 has been ordered and delivered more than any other wide-body airliner; as of July 2022, more than 60 customers had placed orders for 2,122 aircraft of all variants, with 1,690 delivered. The most common and successful variant is the 777-300ER with 838 aircraft ordered and 832 delivered. By March 2018, the 777 had become the most produced Boeing wide-body jet, overtaking the Boeing 747. As of 2018, Emirates was the largest operator, with 163 aircraft. As of September 2021, the 777 had been involved in 31 aviation accidents and incidents, including 8 hull losses (5 during flight and 3 on the ground) with 541 fatalities, and 3 hijackings.

ur videos are good when ur not with that girl
No offense Dan but I strongly disagree with your gushing over the fifa project manager and Qatar Royal family,i hope for obvious reasons
Sadly my wife and I lived through a nearly identical experience as you did on your Lufthansa flight to Dubai when we flew business class between FRA, DOH and on to MHD with Qatar. The service was awful and the food inedible. They changed our flight and separated us for no reason and the new flights meant we never had any time in the lounge in DOH on either the outgoing or return flights. This was our very first experience with Qatar. When I contacted Qatar about this after returning home they did not care in the least which added the final blow to our ever flying with them again. I've flown on a very large percentage of the airlines around the world and have found that service is rarely consistent on most carriers but at least concern for the customer when they have a valid complaint can make up for some things.
It pains me how long that Krug was sat thereβ¦.
Dan, why are the prices of Qatar Airways from NBO to DOH so so so much higher than every other carrier into Doha during the World Cup?
am i the only one thinking the screen is a bit odd placed?

there is something about Qatar airways lemon mint drink, it is so addictive!
Oil money can buy anything, stop the democrats.
Flying Easyjet from Luton check in would be better as you would have to wear the mask of theatre
Great video, keep it coming!
Its first class but bread is given very cheap quality 6:06 in the lounge area..strange to see this
With your give away can we use it to go to norway? I have family in norway and was hoping to see them this year finally as I have not seen them since Covid.
You completely oversold this seat. It looks horrible and outdated for a 1st class seat.
sorry why is someone kneeling in front of you a "gift"
Nice animation with the menu! Love your video's but love your 'leveling up' on the animations supporting your story!
I worked at a Michelin star restaurant. We ironed the creases on the table. Wouldn't that make it even more special? It would go like the old days π heat up an ironing unit and swipe…. Wow! That would be over te top awesome. Like Bear Grylls paramotoring over the Himalayas!
I would refuse you to fly Philippines Airlines too off to Manila
Masks still? Definitely NOT sleeping in a mask. I will have to wait until that ends.
Qatar Airways always has the most amazing food!
Thanks Dan for sharing the experience :). Fantastic vid as per usual.

This makes so much more sense (the lease from Cathay Pacific) because I'm wondering why am I on 19A for Business Class where the Qatar Airways normal configuration flight to Zurich in September, Business Class is only till Row 9 on a B777-300ER (non-leased) and I had a slight panic that they had allocated me on a economy seat π
Dan this was an awesome review! I really am enjoying all your videos and your analysis on the different airlines! For your next list of airlines we'd love to hear your thoughts on Air New Zealand, my country's national airline, and maybe Fiji Airways? We'd love to welcome you to the Pacific whenever you come by! ππππ
Awesome video but you always seem to say the same thing about most airline you fly on ' The best business class product' The best first class set ever'.. Very strange indeed
I think singaporE airlines first class is just as good as this
Very cool Dan
