FYI, Compared to regular single Tokyo apartment, my apartment is older but bigger size, Average Rent for this size apartment in Tokyo is 80,000 – 90,000 JPY ($667 – $750) + Utilities, could be much expensive could be much cheaper, it really depends on the place where you want to live!

Switched to a memory foam pillow: neck soreness went away. Waiting for the updated boosters from moderna for my second booster. Third, the 711s in the states aren’t as good as the ones in Japan(or in any other parts of the Far East). 4th, you can try to change the fluorescent tubes yourself if the landlord refuses…should be cheap to purchase and easy to change out.

When I saw the thumbnail, I thought you’re drinking milk and I was like “Oh, that’s good for the bones” but it was a Calpis. I got triiiiiicked! LOL 😂 Also, we were amazed because despite having a neck sprain, you still able to do the “What A Fox Says?” Dance. That’s a unique talent! Hahahaha! 👏 👏 👏 😂
About your sweet apartment, I must say that you did a good job on choosing the furniture and for doing the furniture layout 👍 Maybe the advice I can give to you now is to get a good and appropriate containers/storages for your things so that your shelves and/or cabinets will look more organise 😉 👌 Thank you for doing this apartment room a.k.a. That shelf that's next to your fridge, maybe you can move it to the wall the sink is next to so it won't block your stove? Because it looks like it would be in the way when you cook. I know it's an unsolicited suggestion, just trying to help!

My fridge/freezer is about 2/3rds the size of yours. I have a great icemaker, too! I love my icemaker! I think I paid half the price. I'm cheap about kitchen appliances!
Can you pour bleach down the drains? That helped my situation. And I understand the smell of smoke/ cooking oil in a Condo. I went through that. The smell left after my living here for 4 months. My cleanliness standards, airing out the Condo, and painting the walls won over the smell!

your fridge is in average price as some fridges here in New Zealand are between $1,200 to $2000 depends how big and brand new it is. Unless wait for sale days.

Yoho, if you have a back-pain due to your mattress, you better get a new one, coz what I learn from experience, every time you sleep you are restoring your HP 😂, if you have a good mattress like mine, ( the one I use is sinomax, I don’t think they have it in Japan ) you don’t need to sleep like 12hrs to regain 8hrs of HP, it will be the otherway around
