After walking at Tochigi Oarai I got a request for Tokyo Nishiarai. As I’ve never been there myself It was fun to explore it for myself. I walked from the eastern side of Nishiarai station, walked a bit to the north, then turned to the west and walked to Daishi-Mae station. Then I passed through a market street and got to Daishi temple with still blooming sakura and two ponds with koi carps. Then I walked back to Nishiarai station and finished at its western entrance.
No cats found 😿

Sometimes I think about recommending videos like these to my friends. I know, without a doubt, they'd be terribly bored by them. But for me, to see all the windows and shop fronts and faces, and to imagine the stories and connections that go on within them, that makes me super happy and gives me a sense of wonderment. I get a sense of goodwill for all people that comes from that. (Virtual) travel really is an amazing antidote for societies ills, I think.
