CHEAPEST BUS TO PATTAYA (Chiang Mai to Bangkok to Pattaya overnight bus)

In this vlog, we left good old Chiang Mai to head back to the capital! We took the overnight sleeper bus from Chiang Mai (Arcade Bus Station) to Bangkok (Mochit Bus Station) on the state run 999 Transport Co bus. It cost us less than THB 600 (which was less than the more comfortable overnight train journey from Bangkok to Chiang Mai – you can watch that here: https://youtu.be/TrdDXgBYbT0 ). So tell us – which journey do you prefer – bus or train? 😃 We reached Bangkok in the morning and began hunting for the Mochit Minivan station (its on the opposite side of the road from the Bus terminal). We bought the cheapest tickets to go directly from Bangkok to Pattaya (with a drop to our hotel included) for THB 150 (USD 4.5 or INR 330). It was pretty comfortable. Once we got to Pattaya, we just checked in and rested for what was to come later that evening! 😉
