We explore more of Seoul and try LIVE OCTOPUS for the first time with some Seoul locals.
The day started off with breakfast at a popular restaurant in Myeongdong called ‘Sinseon Seolnongtang’ known for their ox bone soup.
We then head towards the historical Gyeongbokgung Palace where we rented Hanbok (traditional Korean dress) for a day. Definite must-do for first timers in Seoul; it was actually a fun and unique experience. Tip: You will receive free entry to all the palaces in Seoul when you are wearing a Hanbok. We also hired a photographer (Joy) through Airbnb experiences to help us take photos.
Lunch was at ‘Tosokchon Samgyetang’ which specialises in Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup. Also a well know spot in Seoul.
To end the night we explore the famous Noryangjin Fish Market with fellow Youtubers and Seoul locals – Aaron & Claire’s Korea!
We tried LIVE OCTOPUS (with sesame oil) and also a range of other seafood such as grilled prawns and fresh sashimi. Needless to say, we had an epic seafood feast!

So, would you try live octopus? 🐙
Oh wow I love the fish head in the soup!!! Looks so tasty!
Can see why the first spot has such a long line. Ox bone soup looks amazing, plump mandoo, thin kimchi pancake and then those containers of unlimited kimchi – yessss!
Love the concept of picking out fresh seafood from the market for the restaurant to cook
