Just call me Toshi. I am a Filipino-Japanese.
I was born and grew up in the Philippines, finished my studies and moved here in Japan for a living. As a child, I never questioned my identity of being both Filipino and Japanese.
But as I grew up, I torn between different parts of who i am. As someone born in the Philippines, instilled in Filipino values and practices.
Moving here in Japan on my first year, having an adjustment and had those feelings of culture shock.
But spending my life here for almost 20 years now, going through the seasons and the festivals, travel and living, all helped my understanding and appreciation for my second home.
So I came up to an idea of creating a channel – JAPINOYOLOGY TV that will share you some facts about Japan.
