Downtown Santa Cruz is a great college town for the students of UC Santa Cruz. Even during the pandemic, many restaurants were open, people were dancing, and everyone was going about life. We start off at the Town Clock and go up and down Pacific Ave. Although a lot of places are closed, Downtown Santa Cruz is still a lively and great place to visit.

  1. Santa Cruz was one of my "hangs" back in the 90s and I haven't been there since '92, thanks for bringing it back. Now I'm feeling a return trip in the spring.

  2. Your work is awesome sir…πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™I hope I could also walk there calmly someday like u😊😊😊😊

  3. Aww, I was hoping to see just a couple blocks more to the boardwalk. Come back and give a beach side tour. Enjoy the walk!

  4. Very good video LIKE πŸ‘21
    have a nice day 🧑🀍🧑

  5. Amazing video! Will there be a video of the University of California Santa Cruz campus? I saw your UCSB video and hoped to see a UCSC one. There are also no videos of UCSC that have this amazing quality so I'm sure a lot of UCSC students would love it!

  6. In the early 60's remember taking the bus, for a nickel, up and down Pacific Avenue with my Mom while she did her shopping. The days before UCSC and the "Pacific Avenue Mall", when the cooper house was the city court building. Looks like the 1989 earthquake changed everything quite a bit. Left Santa Cruz in 1983 to join the Navy. Didn't know how lucky I was to grow up there until after I left. Of course, could never dream of returning with the price of real estate now. Very nice video. Thanks for sharing.

  7. This is wonderful to the eye sight, no thrash, no tents, etc. Keep it that way!😊😊😊😊

  8. I was a UCSC student between 1989-1991. Most of the Pacific Garden Mall was empty lots and rubble from the Loma Prieta earthquake while I was there. It makes my heart happy to see everything rebuilt and vibrant.
