Why This Is Florence’s Most Legendary Steak House | Legendary Eats

  1. But …. Where is the touch of olive oil at the end … just salt and olive oil the real Florentina

  2. what's so amazing about that steak is that unlike in a USA steak house, the beef is not filled with hormones and anti-biotics and is not corn fed.

  3. I had it on a trip to Florence a couple weeks ago at the trattoria in the Santa Croce plaza. I prefer an angus cooked medium rare but this steak was probably best served blue rare due to how lean it is, pretty good to try once but not some super-steak like the patrons claim it to be.

  4. This is the only redeeming quality about vegans. They don't eat this beautiful food and leave more for the rest of us.

  5. wait, is she saying "steak" or …… "sex"??? She has a beautiful accent, but the way she said "steak" sounds like she was saying:
    "Florentines love sex (steak?)"

  6. Just had this tonight in Florence. It was good, the traditional porterhouse cut- but I also had the chianina ribeye the night before and I preferred the ribeye… travesty

  7. I think I would prefer it with butter poured over and grilled to be really hot when served, as they do at Peter Luger. Otherwise, lukewarm steak is never as good as sizzling steak.

  8. scammers uses fake profit I was scammed over $40.000 I reported to the police but nothing was done. but just recently to got helped by ( Scammers _Trackers) they helped me got my money back by can help you too when you file a case..

  9. Just did it and It was so underwhelming. Honestly I've had steaks in Brazilian and argentinian steakhouses or even in backyard barbecues that are far far better. The steak was good don't get me wrong, I just don't get the hype.

  10. That steak would cost $145.00 USD; in today's day of rising inflation, who can afford to spend that in 2022 and beyond.

  11. Just got back from Florence and had an amazing Florentine steak for half the price of this place at an authentic Trattoria instead. I decided not to go here because it seemed touristy and overpriced, not the ambiance I am looking for when trying to experience authentic Tuscan cuisine

  12. literally nobody in this video is from Florence – chef, spokesperson, host, punters. That said, it looks fantastic. i miss my hometown 🙁

  13. At the Trattoria Dall'Oste they have an ambulance on standby to transport people to the ER who get food poisoning after eating raw meat.
