We did go for a walkabout to try various snacks in Petaling Street aka Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur. There is so much food so this time we just tried typical Chinese street food snacks, and there are a lot. Let’s go to Petaling Street and see what it is all about.

  4. Been following your vlog in KL. I think your kids would love it if you bring them to the Bird Park in Taman Tasik Perdana (Perdana Lake Garden) near the National Museum. It costs a bit for entrance fees but once inside your kids could get near various species of birds in person.

  9. Air mata kucing is NOT cat's eye literally. It's the fruit (i'm not sure what they call in English, maybe Dragon's eye fruit?). If you peel off the skin and cut it half, u will see pit at the center that will look like the cat's eye…hence the name –>Mata Kucing.

  12. In northern Malaysia, the fried thingy is called "Char Koay" (Hokkien for, literally, fried batter/fritter). The original Malay name for it is Paktongko, but now even the Malays are calling it "Chakoi".
