Mulshi Lake – Never Seen Before | Weekend Road Trip from Pune

How about a weekend drive from Pune to Mulshi Lake and Tamhini Ghats? Here I tried to share the beautiful driveway from Pune to Mulshi region including the beautiful Mulshi Dam View Point, Sunset View Point over Mulshi Dam and Mulshi Lake both, the Mula River cutting across the hills and mingling with Mulshi Lake which is surrounded by the beautiful hills. The enchanting view of the hills, terrains, river, lake, and plateaus across the ghat roads definitely bring a lot of refreshing experiences.

In this vlog I tried to cover the route from Pune to Mulshi through the Tamhini Ghats. The first part of the vlog (first 16-18 mins) was covering the Mulshi Dam view point, Sunset point from top of the hill, the aerial view of Mulshi River, Mulshi Dam and Mulshi Lake. The place is at the top of the hill and completely remote and a perfect definition for hinterland. The table top views, paddy fields at the edge of the hills, sunflower gardens just add more beauty to the serene landscape. Down the hill in second part of the vlog I covered the beautiful Tamhini ghat roads approaching the Mulshi Lake, and finally entering into the Mulshi Lake basin, an area pretty close to the water body. The memorable sunset view over the serene Mulshi Lake is a perfect closure to the half day long trip.

It is a perfect weekend gateway to avoid crowd and any risk due to Covid-19 pandemic. A visit just before the 2021 lockdown enforced due to Covid-19 pandemic was a perfect one for carrying good memories and share with you all. It is ideal to visit the place during the monsoon season to witness more greenish beauty around the region but given the location it’s worth visiting anytime of the year. A perfect lonely place to spend some good time with the serene nature. If someone loves to go for hinterland, offbeat travel, then a drive from Pune to Mulshi Lake is highly recommended.
