  1. The NHK potato chip review bit is one of my favorite Chris moments too, that and when he wouldn't go into the cave "I can't my foot hurts, ya" HAHA!

  2. Fascinating to see that Natsuki still throws in English word salad snippets when he's being talked to in Japanese by a Japanese person. So that's indeed genuinely just his personality. XD

  3. Iโ€™m now a subscriber. I like that you speak Japanese and have subtitles. Nice complement to the wider Abroad In Japan, Trash Taste, Tokyo Creative groups.

  4. Loved how you mixed Japanese and English. As a student of Japanese it's really helpful

  5. Thanks for sharing. It's great to see more of those beautiful views

  6. Once I get the money, and travel restrictions ease up, Okinawa is definitely one of my travel destinations, along with the other Ryukyu Islands! The late wife of an acquaintance/friend of my father's came from Okinawa, so I would love to see the island she used to call home!

I especially want to visit Shuri Castle, see the famous Shureimon Gate, gaze upon the Shisas, offer up a prayer in the osenmikocha, and then enjoy a feast of chanpuru (in it's many varieties, including goya chanpuru and fu chanpuru, somin chanpuru), have some sata andagi and chinsuko for dessert, and wash it all down with some ukon tea.

I'd also love to see the clear blue oceans for myself (especially since it's been a good 25 years since I last visited ANY ocean) and feed the fish. And finally, one of the other islands I would love to visit is Iriomote Island. Hopefully I'll be lucky enough to see an Iriomote Cat, also known as a yamapikaryaa or yamamayaa, in the wild!

Much of the locales and activities that I mentioned is due to me being inspired by the story arc from my favorite manga/anime, Azumanga Daioh, where they visited Okinawa for their school trip, and experience them for myself. Hopefully I'll be able to see some of this stuff in real life in this new edition of Journey Across Japan before my own trip!

  7. I love Agarihama area! Always shopping at the Cainz there and going to the beach lol. The yachts there in the marina are also soooo nice!! I'm so jealous you got to actually go on one! I love your videos btw!

  8. literally created a whole new channel for this one video. what a Mad Lass

  9. It's cool to see these "behind the scenes" alternate angles to a story. I also really appreciated the mixture of Japanese and English. As someone still learning the language, too much Japanese makes my head hurt, but the conversational snippets make it easier to process.

  10. I love your accent so much! I can hear a little bit of British with a mix of a Japanese English Accent

  11. Ah Im sad it wasnt longer. I know you have to share some of what goes on with the others in their videos so I understand why, but I still wanted to see more. Its really pretty there.
