About this Video:
In this video I talk about the sixth largest statue in the world! Japan’s Sendai Daikannon is taller than the Statue of Liberty at 100 meters tall or 330 ft. The statue is goddess of mercy in Buddhism. As I am a Christian, I don’t adhere to any personal beliefs about the statue, but I am impressed by it’s size and was thoroughly freaked out walking down the steps from the 12th floor inside. if you’re interested in seeing the sixth largest statue in the world its pretty affordable to enter at 500 Yen per adult and 200 Yen per child.
P.S. Little bonus for reading the description – behind the statue is a building where you can find close to a dosen cats wandering around it constantly… not a huge deal, but it was cute for us to watch them playing around XD
