  1. So proud of PAL….I have loved you since I was a kid. Now I work for another carrier in my country but always keep a close eye on your development. The only criticism is your uniform. I wish we could make it more traditional. SQ MH and GA have the sarong kabaya or a likeness…it would be nice to see PAL do something less western and more cultural.

  2. Old means slow, that explains why their flights are sometimes delayed. Sorry but I'm not impressed with PAL.

  3. it’s so nice seeing that plaza in binondo without any chinese arches 1:52

yes, the philippines was advanced and assisting other countries in asia back then until greed n corruption became the way of life

but things seem to be making a u-turn as new groups of principled leaders set the tone this century

PAL’s motto should simply be “Asia’s First”

  4. MASAYANG ISIPIN NA TAYO PINAKA NAUNA KASO MASAKIT DING ISIPIN NA TAYO NA ANG NAHULI SA TECHNOLOGY "MATALINO" MGA PILIPINO TAMAD NGALANG REALTALK MGA KABABAYAN PROUD PINOY HERE..

  5. Love Pilippine Airlines. Its business class service to North America is amazing. But please improve the airport in Manila if you want to stay competitive

  6. Although PAL has a lot of improvement to do (esp getting rid of the tax-evader lucio tan). It still has some of the many attributes to be proud of like the food, smooth takeoff and landing of filipino pilots and the natural warm hospitality of its crew. They better stop charging extra $ for seating on the front seats of the econo class, it's ridiculous. The uniform has to improve, give it a little taste of home…vibrant, sunny, and fun to the eyes. Our airports (domestic and international) has to expand and improve. This is where the Filipino architectural and interior designing prowesness comes into play. The old conveyor belts has to go. Kudos to the electronic passport/immigration scanner. Ambilis na lumabas ng immigration unlike before. The arrival area and the process of fetching the arriving pax by their loved ones has to change…parang palengke kasi sa arrival at sa parking ng arrival. In other countries nasa loob ng airport ung sumusundo(airconditioned at may starbucks pa) wala sa labas. The airline also has to avoid delays on departure. Engineering and maintenance has to improve to avoid technical delays. Ang etihad nga kahit nadelay ang departure, on time pa rin ang arrival (binibilisan siguro ng piloto ung paglipad to compensate the delayed time). At kung may long delays, dapat well compensated ang passengers such as free meal sa airport while waiting. Longer delays they should provide hotel accom. Upgrade their cabin experience by adding entertainment tech at para sa lahat dapat, hindi lang sa 1st at business class ung entertainment tech (ie. individual touch screen-tv monitors, various movies, songs, tv shows and documentaries, video games etc). More leg space and comfi seats for all classes. Wifi and Network facilities on board for smart phones and devices of pax while on flight. Magazines that promote the rich heritage and tourism in the country.

  7. Philippines was once the richest country in Southeast Asia, even richer than Malaysia and Singapore….

  12. Unfortunately PAL wasn't in the list of the best Asia airline because of the high competition in the world they need more improve

  13. San Miguel Corp founder is also the founder of the Philippine Airlines, He was a Spanish-Filipino businessman and his name was Andres Soriano Sr. and the airline absorbed the former Philippine Aerial Taxi Company Inc or PATCO (founded in 1935 under the Philippine Congress).
