The Sagano Sightseeing Line is a railway line of the Sagano Sightseeing Railway that connects Torokko Saga Station in Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, to Torokko Kameoka Station in Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture. It is the first tourist railway in Japan. Due to electrification preparation and double line conversion, the old railway between JR West San’in Main Line Saga Station and Umahori Station was demolished in March 1989. In April 1991, this line was regenerated as a sightseeing railway between Torokko Saga Station and Torokko Kameoka Station. The season of wild cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves is a masterpiece.
