Hello, In Today’s video, we will take England’s First class Train (CrossCountry) ride from Manchester Piccadilly to Birmingham New Street station, UK.
I started my Journey from Manchester Piccadilly station. Reached station at 08:08 AM, 1 hr earlier to My Train departure (09:06 AM). It was a pleasant morning. Station was less crowded. Someone was playing piano in the station.. it was lovely!
Platform details were not still listed. So, I thought I will grab some breakfast. Walked into Greggs. Got an Orange Juice and Fruit salad (Not my favourite though!).
Back to the station, Platform is now listed. It’s Platform 4. It will be 90 mins ride to Birmingham New Street station. 5 Stops in between.
I boarded the train little early to shoot the First Class coach and comfort. It was Coach A. To be honest, First Impression was not so great. The Coach was bit smelly and not so clean. Loved the Seat colors though 🙂
My Seat No was 17A. Only 2 Passengers in the Coach apart from me. I dropped my backpack on the overhead luggage compartment.
Quick glimpse of coach amenities. Folding table, Laptop / Mobile Charging socket beside the seat. Comfortable hand rest. Free Wifi (Din’t try connecting!).
In Few mins, I was offered the complementary Snack and drink.. I din’t expect this for a short ride! Just remembered the Fruit salad that I grabbed in station earlier. Had that too.
After few stops, Train reached Birmingham New street station at 10:35 AM. Stepped out of the Train. Loved the Birmingham New street station. Captured few shots and walked out of the station.
The End.
