The real life location of Laid-Back Camp this time is Okuoi.
This story appears in volumes 10 and 11 of the comics.
Okuoi is an unexplored region located at the foot of the Southern Alps in the hinterland of Shizuoka Prefecture.
And the Oigawa Railway, one of the best sightseeing trains in Japan, runs.
This time, I will take the Oigawa Railway and go around the route that Nadeshiko traveled.

Transfer to Oigawa Railway at JR Kanaya Station in Shizuoka Prefecture.

【Tokyo~Shizuoka 】 Shinkansen,1h20min
【Shizuoka~Kanaya】Tokaido line,37min

  1. Hi THC. Always look forward to your videos. They show a side of Japan not many people get to see, with beautiful scenery and natural splendour. I'm sure most visitors only get to see the big cities in Japan and miss out on the lovely countryside. Now I also know where the longest wooden pedestrian bridge in the world is. They say you learn something new everyday!

  2. Hello again THC! I just finished watching the anime "Golden Time". I was excited when I saw the scenes with Hourai Bridge and remembered how you showed it here in your video. This bridge makes a number of appearances in the anime in various episodes. My favourite scene was on the bridge in episode 24, when the two lovers Kouko and Banri re-unite. I always look forward to your videos and find them to be very informative. Thank you.
