  1. I too find Divine creepy. 😳. & PizzaFari is delicious, I like soft bread and garlic knots can’t go wrong with good comfort food.

  2. We 100 percent have seen them work on a tiger, and gorilla in the vet area. If you can speak with one of the keepers, ask them what happens to the goats that are about to pass. It is amazing.

  3. I’ve seen a tiger have tooth removed also seen a hyacinth macaw on veterinary table and a goat another time but I can’t remember what they had done

  4. The last time I saw the vet exhibit, I saw one of the apes getting a colonoscopy. He was older and having, uh, problems going to the bathroom.

  5. So glad you haven't left the magic molly. I love your knowledge of the parks. Here's hoping to see you and the guys in November ps rewind to it's tough to be a bug "if your not scared of the dark and not scared of kids" made me giggle so much

  6. Can I tell you though, if you hit Khali toward the end of the day and can stay on, it's GORGEOUS when all the lights come on. I would never choose it during the day but that last hour or so at twilight? It's stunning and relaxing and fun.

And then I go get dry clothes on because I hate feeling squidgy.

  7. What a way to find out primeval whirl no longer exists 😢 (Just started blogs after booking my first trip back in over 15 years!)

  8. Love that you included Tough to Be a Bug! I miss it over here in California… call me evil but my favorite part was laughing at everyone screaming at the scary parts 👀 Saddened by Na'vi River Journey being overrated, but since I've only waited 20 minutes for it and not 60+, I get it. The music and lights are just so calming!

  9. This park really IS so awesome at night….especially Pandora! Wow! This is my fav park anytime of day!

  10. We saw a kangaroo getting a cyst removed a couple of years ago at the vet exhibit. It is very hit or miss.

  11. I saw one of the female tigers at the vet!! She was getting some dentistry done and it was FASCINATING to watch 🥰 just this past February and it was the first time I went to rafikis planet watch and I went because i learned about it from you guys!!

  12. We waited and waited last year to see Pandora at night because yes we usually leave before dark. Well after nothing happened for a long time we finally found out there was some issue with the lighting and we didn’t get to see it. Questionable whether we will wait this year at our next trip after that disappointment.

  13. I loved Primeval Whirl! I loved it even more after I saw the picture of you as a CM on that ride! I still can’t believe it’s gone. 🙁

  14. The first time I went there I got to see a tiger having dental work done. My husband had to drag me away to give others a chance to see. So adorable

  15. We’ve NEVER seen Devine! Does anyone know which gate Molly was referring to when she said “she comes out of this gate”?

  16. I worked at Disney World during the 1990's. When AK opened, I worked at Conservation Station (I guess it's called Rafiki's Planet now). Anyway, the attraction hosts and hostesses there at the time's main job was watching the Affection Section and teaching people about animal care and conservation. Each day, I spent part of my day in the vet area explaining whatever procedures were going on in the room. I had a microphone incase there was a crowd and I could use the microphone to ask the vet questions from the guests. The vet would wear a microphone and answer the questions. Sometimes, a vet tech would wear a microphone and tell us about the procedure. Other times, we just passed the information to the next host or hostess that could explain the procedure to newly arriving guests. All of the animals get regular checkups and care, so the things that occurred most were checkups and vaccination of smaller animals. Larger animals are at a higher risk when under anesthesia, so that was only done when necessary. The vets usually went to the animal barns and enclosures for larger animals. Of course anything needing surgery was mostly done in the vet clinic. There was another room "off stage" that could be used, but when I was there most surgeries were done "on stage". I remember a tiger getting dental work, a gorilla having an ultrasound (she was pregnant), and one time I got to help with the goats getting their check ups.

  17. Love Kali and getting wet at one of the hottest parks and hated Avatar movie and anything that has to do with it so we'll have to agree to disagree.

  18. I’ve never seen Pandora at night, but AK closes at 7 while we’re there in early October! 😢

  19. “If you’re not scared of the dark, you’re more scared of kids, it’s a great attraction” 😂😂😂

  20. Last trip to WDW in May my sister and I were able to see several surgeries (hysterectomies) on goats at Rafiki's Planet Watch. First time in my 28 visits I was able to see a surgery!

  21. We saw a flying fox having a procedure on it's wing when we went to Animal Kingdom in October of 2021. It happens if you're lucky!
