We cycled a segment of the racecourse for the inaugural road race event of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics! This segment we have cycled is the 10km zone within Fuchu city that starts from Musashinonomori Park and ends at Koremasa Bridge. In the actual race, the official start point is Koremasa Bridge which appears at the end of the video. The racecourse goes through Tokyo, followed by Kanagawa, Yamanashi, and Shizuoka prefectures, before finishing at the Fuji International Speedway. The distances are 244 km and 147 km for men’s and women’s events, respectively.
