Hi guys welcome to aclaireytale!!! We went on a Disney Cruise!!!!!! I hope you enjoy this series of Disney Cruise Line vlogs!!! We explore Europe by ship!! Disney Magic 8 Night Mediterranean with Greek Isles Cruise June 2022 European Cruise
The Disney Med cruise itinerary was:
Day 1 – Civitavecchia, Rome, Italy
Day 2 – Messina Sicily (Taormina)
Day 3 – At Sea
Day 4 – Mykonos, Greece
Day 5 – Santorini, Greece
Day 6 – Athens, Greece (Piraeus)
Day 7 – At Sea
Day 8 – Naples (Pompeii), Italy
Then Day 9 we debarked and explored Rome and Vatican City
It’s Day 7 on our 8 night Disney med cruise! It’s our second sea day!!
I start this vlog in the evening as I gave myself the morning off. But don’t worry you didn’t miss much, we chilled by the pool, did the aqua dunk, had ice creams etc.
I start the vlog off with a little chat all about future cruises! Do let me know if you have any experience with Norway Fjords cruises or any of the bigger ships! The dream or the fantasy, I’d love to hear more!
Dinner tonight is Rapunzel’s Royal Table. I show you the menu and I show you what we order. Rapunzel and Flynn do a little show and there are also other performers. Our servers do some magic tricks. I talk about how great our servers are and how the service is impeccable. We take a walk around deck 4 and do a few laps. I show you as we are sailing through the Messina straits. Mainland Italy on one side, Sicily on the other side! Amazing.
I take you to the shops on board again and spot a few bits of Disney merch I didn’t film last time. We have a hilarious towel animal and then I take you to the atrium and show you the photo opportunities. I show you the sunset at sea, it’s absolutely incredible. There’s a show on in the walt disney theatre called the John Kimmons show but it wasn’t great! We do 2000s music trivia in fathoms and then it’s time for bed!

Disney wish booked for three nights from April 14th next year. Our first ever cruise. Really looking forward to it especially Castaway Cay. This series as only wetted my appetite for it.
Simon and your dad’s shrimp both looked like they came out of the sea fighting. 🤣. The desserts looked so good and I was shocked that there was no Mickey bar for you. 🤣

No doubt our grandchildren will have things brought from the ship shop. Do we have to for the haul video to see if the bag came home with you??

Adam Hattan did a Norwegian Disney cruise a few years ago.
We will be sailing on the Wish Claire in a few weeks time so will let you know how we find it . I’ve been fortunate to have sailed on all the Disney ships and have to say the Magic is my favourite so far . I know it’s a little older but I love the adult pool area over the Dream & Fantasy . I think the smaller ships just feel more personable . Ellie was crew staff when you were on and is about to start the fjords cruises which she is looking forward too and whilst I worked onboard the Canberra many years ago we did the fjords and it really is a spectacular trip to do 😁. I'm doing the Disney Norwegian and Icelandic cruise a week from today. Also, in January I'm going on the Wish. Really excited. I definitely prefer the smaller ships. I don't get as lost:-)
Looks like a wonderful relaxing day at sea! One of the things our family loves about cruising is our dining team and our stateroom host. We really enjoy getting to know them. We hope to do the Norway cruise and Alaskan over the next couple of years. They are on our bucket list. I love the pride/rainbow spirit jersey. I always think about buying it but haven’t yet.
We are booked on the Northern Europe cruise in September!
The Disney Magic is my favourite of the DCL fleet! I have also been on the Norwegian Fjords cruise and it is fantastic! Always get the placeholder! Consider the Magic's final transatlantic crossing this September. The cruise fare reduced to 1200 per person (100 per night) and save more with the placeholder! (Source: Vacationstogo). The Dream is much larger with many more guests! The fully wraparound sheltered Promenade Deck was eliminated on the Disney Wish. And the midship lifts were also removed on the Wish so there are only two sets of lifts instead of three. This is how Disney sorted out the guests always moaning about how busy the midship lifts were by removing them. Other non-revenue spaces onboard were removed. Next cruise, bring empties to fill with the H2O+ (H2O Plus) from the stateroom LOL!

We've done the Norwegian Fjords cruise and Northern Europe cruise. We'll be doing the Norwegian Fjords one again very soon. Norway is so beautiful x
I'm full of mixed emotions about our upcoming cruise. I'm so excited to finally getting to cruise again (thanks covid), but it will be the last time I'll be on the Magic. I don't know how I feel about the Dream replacing my beautiful Magic 🥺
