This is a true Costa Rica hidden Gem. On the Pacific side of Costa Rica is a peninsula known as Nicoya. In this travel guide we explore Santa Teresa, Cabo Blanco, Montezuma beach and Tortuga Island. Most of this Nicoya Peninsula travel guide focuses on the southern part of the peninsula. There is more to it towards the north.   1. It is known for its beaches and is a popular tourist destination. The main transport and commercial centre in the region is Nicoya, one of the oldest settlements in Costa Rica. Ferries run between the town of Puntarenas on the mainland and the Nicoya Peninsula.

  5. HI, love your videos. I do have a question. Let me explain our situation. My husband and I are traveling to Costa Rica in February 2022. We wil be there one month. Two weeks in Guanacaste- close to Ostional and two weeks south Nicola-close to Montezuma. My questions is money. Are there ATM, do venders take credit cards? Is it safe to have cash?
