Ja-FUN Day 04: En route to Osaka (passed by Mt. Fuji along the way)

Our next destination is OSAKA – 🇯🇵 ‘s 2nd largest metropolitan area after Tokyo.

TO get there, we have to ride the SHINKANSEN 🚅 (Bullet train) which runs at a high-speed. It is one of the fastest trains in the world where it can run up to 360 kmh 😱 . You can book your ticket ahead of time in trusted online app platforms (most of our bookings are done through Klook app 😉 ). We booked a two-way ticket from Tokyo-to-Shin Osaka and vice versa (coz our flight back home is from Narita airport). And you can reserved a seat without additional payment 😊 . We reserved ours a day before our departure because we want to sit at the window side where we can clearly see Mt. Fuji 🗻 . Yes, when you reserve a seat make sure to choose the area where Mt. Fuji can be seen and appreciated along the way, just tell the staff and they will give you the best seat. The interior of the train so so spacious and has comfortable chairs where you can relax throughout the trip – since Shinkansen runs smoothly as you will barely feel the shakiness from the ride.

When we reached Osaka, we went straight to our hostel (it’s much cheaper than a hotel 😅 ) to drop our things and then we went out again. The very first destination we planned to go was to Umeda Sky Building which offers an impressive views of Osaka. At the very top of the building is an outdoor observatory (admission costs 1,000 💴 per adult) where you can enjoy breathtaking view of the city. And we made sure to reach the top before the sun goes down. The sunset had added a stunning view of the city. And we also get to see the night time view 😇 .

There are still other areas where you can enjoy the view of Osaka, other Towers where you can go up to watch the city 😉 .
