WHAT
Verona, once a Roman colony since 89 BC, today one of the main tourist destinations in northern Italy.
Two of William Shakespeare’s plays are set in Verona: Romeo and Juliet, of course, and The Two Gentlemen of Verona. 
The city has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO because of its urban structure and architecture.
Ponte Pietra is a Roman arch bridge completed in 100 BC. It cross the Adige River.
The cathedral of Verona has a Romanesque style and dates to 1187 (in the video I made a mistake saying 1185).
Santa Maria Antica has a Romanesque style and dates to 1185.
Piazza delle Erbe was the town’s forum during the time of the Roman Empire. You can find the market from from Monday to Saturday, and this view is from Osteria alla Torre.
Porta Leoni is the 1st century BC ruin of the Roman city gate.
But the great touristic star of Verona is the Roman amphitheatre, the Arena di Verona.
#arenadiverona is the largest in Italy after Rome’s Colosseo and the arena of Capua.
The Castel Vecchio Bridge was built in 1355. It had the world’s largest span at the time of its construction (50 meters).

HOW
I suggest you to start your trip in Verona from Ponte Pietra and follow this circular tour that will bring you to all the attractions I show in the video, one after the other.
Once you have passed the Castelvecchio bridge, you can decide to visit also the Austrian arsenal Franz Josef I, and walking along the riverside you will have a beautiful overall view of the city.
