Always stab your bread though the crust… I make cheese fondue at home and often have lots of crudités, as well as pickles and olives of varying types… for meat fondue, marinade your meat and provide lots of different sauces… for chocolate fondue, nothing beats marshmallows as dippers…

If you're still in Geneva or Vaud, you gotta try Malakoffs. For a more local dish you have to try the Longeole genevoise with lentils. Hope you enjoy your stay 🙂
