Juneyao Airlines, launched as a regional Chinese airline in 2006, commenced a daily air service from Shanghai (Pudong) to Helsinki in June 2019. The airline operates a fleet of 68 Airbus A320/A321 and four Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. Besides the Helsinki route, the latter are operated on international routes from Shanghai to Kaohsiung, Taipei and Singapore. The Dreamliners also serve other Chinese destinations such as Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzen and Xi’an.
