I SELL MY SOUL TO GACHA GACHA FAREWELL

Had a very lovely time this week going to afternoon tea with my friend in the cutest little shop 🥺🫖 Felt like I lived out my cottage core dreamssss!!

And then, as is tradition, I went crazy at my favorite mall, Sunshine City in Ikebukuro 😇 They have soo many good anime-related things and, equally as important, have THOUSANDS OF GACHA MACHINES 🙈

Anyways, gonna hibernate for the next week from the typhoon and heat~

  1. the one thing I don’t like about your videos is that they have to end 😩
love your videos allison keep it up!!

  2. The dean at my daughter's graduation ceremony said in his speech, "Don't worry about what ONE thing you're going to do/be after graduation; you don't have to do/choose just one thing, but can choose to be many/more than one at the same time." You can do one thing. Or you can do one thing plus another thing, or you can do one thing and then do something else after that thing or three things at the same time lol…There's no reason to feel that after graduation you have to make this big decision that you're going to be stuck with for the rest of the life because your world is your oyster, girly. 🙂

  3. Hello from your Las Vegas friend been listening to this song for about 2 weeks now it really captures the Vegas blvd lights at night vibe for me. Love your videos still and hoping I can make it to Tokyo in 2023 autumn season https://youtu.be/JQ8FRvbPlV8

  4. I think your hair looks nice with and without bangs😊Maybe grow it out more and see how you feel?

Also I think if you stay true to yourself you’ll end up where you’re supposed to. Like as long as you don’t chase after things you think you should or what others may think you should, you will eventually land where your supposed to and build up from there 🙏🏾

  5. Your hair looks so smooth in this video! I am suffering the frizz so badly this summer, it's so humid here.
Congrats on being so close to graduation!! That's amazing!
As for dreams, they can come from anywhere. I also didn't have one for the longest time and I'm still not 100% sure what I want to do with my life, I think it's okay to figure it out much later. I went back to undergrad at 24 because I want to do JET (I have 3 semesters left! I'm so close!!) , but after that I'm still not sure what I want. I think that's fine because I have time to figure it out and things I want to do in the meantime. You'll figure it out when you're ready!!

  6. I relate so much to the feeling of not knowing what comes next. Having a dream and then achieving it, and then being left like… what now?!?! I'm finally moving to Tokyo in October (which has my been my dream for like 4 years now) and I'm so terrified that as soon as I actually get there I'm gonna freak out about no longer having a life goal to work towards. 🙃 ps. Thanks for another lovely video, you've quickly become a comfort YouTube channel for me, I always look forward to watching your videos! X

  7. I saw a tik tok of someone who said your twenties are just the experiment phase of your life and you don't have to have anything figured out just yet. I feel like you'll get a sense of direction in the coming months. Until then, we're here to vibe along with you on your journey! You got this gorl!!

  8. Your hair looks cute as it gets longer! But I know what you mean about the bangs, I’m tempted to cut mine as I grow them out. They’re like in the awkward stage. Also as a 32 yr old “adult”, I still don’t know what my dream is. It’s changed so many times. I think doing what’s fun is most important. Having a job that is bearable and pays yours bills while also letting you enjoy your personal life is important. 💕

  9. Hope you can stay in Japan teaching. Keep growing your hair just put a small clip in until your fringe grows longer. 👍🥰

  10. With your bangs, if you want to grow them out why not pin them up on top of your head? I used to do that when I was growing mine out and I would leave the rest of my hair down, creating a cute hairstyle. You could use a cute headband even if you prefer that to clips.

  11. I think your hair looks really cute in a ponytail! Summer in Japan is absolutely unbearable so I only ever wear my hair in a ponytail or a bun to stay cooler, and I never cut bangs. But unlike you, my hair is so wavy/curly so it gets really poofy and frizzy. So I’m a bit jealous of you and your straight hair haha. Also, that dress you wore to afternoon tea is so cute and it looks lovely on you ☺️

  12. Heya Allison! Amazing video as always! Congrats getting your term paper done! 🌟 I’m almost finished university as well so I know the feeling! 😆
I think your hair looks beautiful both with bangs and with the bangs grown out! An idea if you don’t know what to do though is curtain bangs, you can easily push them out of the way on hot days, but then cover up when you want to! :))
Also I get what you’re saying about dreams and stuff, I really felt that during uni. I’m studying animation and I felt like everyone else had their goals and knew exactly what they wanted to be / do, meanwhile I felt so lost. But trust me it gets better! Give yourself time and enjoy the time you have left with Grad school! Figuring out this stuff is what your 20s are all about after all! 🌼✨

  13. Statistically, most people are unhappy with their chosen career path.

It kinda makes sense. When we’re young, we know absolutely NOTHING about the world – aside from what we see in media, and in those we meet; and we think we know everything. Yet at at only 18 years old we’re supposed to pick a degree that we’re supposed to pursue, AND succeed in, AND enjoy working in, for the rest of our lives? pffft. No wonder most are unhappy.

Finishing your degree is a major point in life. Like retiring, or starting a new job, or moving to a new city. These points in life are a nexus to other things. We have the rest of our lives to either be happy, or miserable. The choice is ours.

Take your time! There’s no rush. When in doubt, take some time off, and travel! 🙂

  14. I love the tea party.. I wish I had something like that near me. I love the bangs grown out I hate that phase but it does look cute 🥰
