Hankyu Umeda Station (阪急梅田駅) is located in the Umeda district of the northern part of the downtown Osaka City. Umeda area is serviced by both Hankyu Umeda Station and the JR Osaka Station. Both stations are located side by side and connected by multitude of above ground and under ground shopping, eating and drinking establishments.
Umeda Station is owned and operated by Hankyu Railways conglomerate. Enjoy…

Wow…looks like a destination in itself.
If I ever got lost in all those alley ways, at least I'd never starve!

All Japanese main stations in cities of any notable size are like mini-cities themselves. I've always enjoyed poking around the stations for a few hours each time I've been to Japan. Thanks for the tour! Brings back memories for me. =)
Very nice video, but this video didn't mention that the Hanshin Railway also has a terminal station at Umeda, though that one is south of JR West Osaka Station and and the platforms are underground. Nice overview of Hankyu Umeda Station though.
I miss this station!
