If you want to try nasi goreng or sate in Indonesia it'll be a dollar or two
When Will you go to Indonesia
Satay is very good with white rice..
Rendang is very good with white rice..
You can eat the rice just with the seasoning of Satay or Rendang..
Nasi goreng is a mixture of rice and seasoning..
FYI, the Rendang beef is made with coconut milk. It needs long time to cook the Rendang, so that the beef tastes so tender..
According to CNN, the best food in the world:
Rendang #1
Nasi Goreng #2

nasi goreng with rendang is not common indeed even for an indonesian like myself. white rice is the perfect combo
Thats a common misconception tho, not all indonesian food is spicy. Many dishes are even sweet, but wherever you eat, for the spicy lovers, there should be spicy condiment(sambal) available. But yes ofcourse there are many dishes that already dead spicy by itself, without any addition of the sambals. Cus at the end of the day, the majority of indonesians love spicy.
Loved watching you fail to handle the spice, lol. The global village is actually really cool, would love to visit!
Great, finally you can try Indonesian food. ๐๐
Where are you guys? Looks like it's not in indonesia.
I sugest you to try bakso (if it's possible to find there xD) it just like pho soup… They have similar Ingredien
The rice pyramid you call is rice cake usually wrap with banana leaves & eat this rice cake with satay. Not all satay is spicy, you can ask the seller not to put chilli or not include in it

1. Beef Rendang (Indonesia)
2. Nasi Goreng (Indonesian fried rice, is runner up)
…
14. Satay / skewers (Indonesian)
