Asakusa is one of the many popular areas of Tokyo, Japan. Located east of the capital, it lies between the Sumida River and the Ueno district. The whole neighborhood revolves around the famous Senso-ji Buddhist temple and its Nakamise-dori shopping alley. But there are also other things to see, other neighborhoods to visit all around.
