We made it onto the Alaska Highway! 🇨🇦🇺🇸

The Alaska Highway runs around 1,400 miles from Dawson Creek in British Columbia to Delta Junction, Alaska, going through the Yukon along the way. We spent a total of a week driving this road, with 3 days of it in British Columbia, which has tons of stunning views, fun stops, hikes, a hot spring, wildlife, and so much more!

  1. This video was filmed on June 4-6, 2022 and doesn’t reflect current conditions. The Alaska Highway experienced a road washout north of Liard River Hot Springs well after we finished driving the road and is now operating with a one way detour. This did not impact our drive and we are driving back a different way, so it doesn’t impact us at all.

  2. This was honestly so cool to see. I live In Dawson Creek and always see people taking photos at the Alaska highway sign. Nice to see it on YouTube

  3. I was going to be disappointed if Adam didn't call that cinnamon roll "pillowy" 😂 Those springs look amazing 😍 I love all the trees and nature around it.

  4. Dawson creek fella here. Friends with the owner of beans and barley and even worked there a little once. Great place and I'm glad you enjoyed our small city 😀

  5. What a beautiful area and your picture along with your videos This is one of mine favorite u tube events. Great job thru out . Lov lov it do more

  6. I grew up in dawson creek and in 2019 i drove the Alaska highway and explored alaska a bit was an awesome experience and would love to do again

  7. Loved the video. We drove up from Alabama with our 5th wheel in 2012 and 2018. We enjoyed reliving it through your video. We want to go back a 3rd time but we will be driving a van or class c so we can stay in some out of the way places. Thanks can't wait to see the other videos!

  8. It's cool to see this! I live in Dawson Creek and infact a block away from beans and barley haha. Drive by it everyday!

  9. WOW! British Columbia is so amazingly beautiful! 😍 I hope to explore my own province in the future! I was in the Yukon last March, and would love to visit Alaska too. Thanks for this wonderful video. Very well done! 😃👍🏾

  10. I’m going to Alaska in June, 2023 in a 15 rv guided caravan. I’m really enjoying your videos to make my plans. My tour will be 60 days meeting up in Dawson creek.

  11. Great video! Love your thoughts, impressions and comments. Much better than watching videos with only music. Well done!!

  12. It’s so weird to see that influencers were at our little crack town in the middle of nowhere lol. Not only that but they went to the cafe that I regularly go to. Is this what it’s like to live in a city??? Also fun little fact my dad worked on the new Alaska highway as well as my grandpa who’s business was hired to do around 200km of the new highway. The new highway cut out over 300km as there was no need to have such winding roads to prevent airborn attacks therefore the road is much straighter now. Most of the old highway winded through the other side of the valley.

  13. Cinnamon Rolls up there are Sourdough. The sourdough starters came up with the gold miners around 1850 from San Francisco, which is known as some of the best sourdough around.

  14. When I drove through on the Alcan hwy, I think I said "This is the most beautiful place" 100s of times!!! Loving your vlog!

  15. As someone who lives in Dawson Creek, this was so cool to watch. Can confirm, lots of bugs in the town. Windshields be looking like that commonly 😅

  16. I had different idea of the road conditions. My review of your video looks like road conditions were good to great. Thanks

  17. We enjoyed your trip a lot. Well done. Our last big trip was 12 years ago from San Pedro CA to Homer and Farbanks. We will never forget it.

  18. I went through Canada to get to Alaska when I moved there in 2020. Canadian borders were closed to US citizens, but they allowed a few through if they had good reason – like moving. I would go sometimes hours without passing another car in the more desolate areas. It felt like I was the only person left in the world at times. Like the Apocalypse. 😄

  19. Congrats. My bucket list dream one day. I did drive a portion of the Alaska Highway from/to Delta Junction in June 2017 and 19. I have driven and conquered both the Dalton and Dempster Hwys in June 2019. The wildest and most fun road adventures of my life.

  20. I live in Dawson Creek. Beans and Barley is one of the best little restaurants. We managed the old lodge at the hot springs years ago ( mile 496 )

  21. Made that journey in 1974 when the entire highway was dirt. I spent the summer in Soldatna and the Keni. Beautiful trip.
