Today I’m reviewing the Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa in Aruba. There are a few things I want to mention before I get started. The first is that Aruba feels very Americanized and doesn’t really have that Caribbean island vibe. I was getting a sense of Vegas mixed with Florida type feel. The second is that there are 2 areas of accommodations. The high rise building area and the low rise building area. The high rise area had that vegasy Florida vibe. Seemed like a happening place. But also seemed crowded during the day. Like beach chairs crammed together. The low rise area is quieter and the beach chairs are spread out. I prefer the quieter relaxing beach vacation so opted for the low rises. If you’re looking for some peace and quiet mixed with a little action, you could stay in the low rises and drive to the high rises. It’s about a 10-minute drive. The third is that the Manchebo allows children. Although we didn’t see a single kid while we were there. The average guests were couples of all ages. Aruba is a lovely island! The beaches are beautiful. There is lots to do during the day and night. The Manchebo is charming and quiet. The room and the pool didn’t quite meet my high standards but the beach and the atmosphere were top notch. A great spot for a romantic getaway.

Are there any hidden or surprise fees for this resort? Is what my online price what I'm going to pay when I check in? Thx
Would you stay again? If not, where would you stay instead?
allways windy ?
🙂
This hotel is great for anyone who just wants to take it easy and do nothing but a few trips to town and dance and to listen to steel drum bands. I was 35 when I went there and stayed in room 1. Who really wants to lay around in a room when there is an amazing beach.
5 stars for everything for us.
We spent some time at this beach but not at the resort.
I just stayed here and they have a single 1 bedroom suite you can stay in as well. Definitely recommend as it's really not that much more than the small rooms they have. Still would be nice to have a tub, but the rainfall showers are nice. I may post a video of the room later.
Hello! I m going there in november, I am looking also for a quiet place and I prefer not inclusive so thank you for your recommandations. My 1st time, I went to RIU, hated it but love the island so am definately looking for a chill spot as I could not sleep at all for two weeks. I wanted to ask you if there is a dressing code for the casino at the Ritz Carlton? Thanks!
Where did u rent a car and how much was it?
