Did you know that the red color of the Kremlin is red paint. From the moment of construction, the color of the Kremlin has changed between red and white, depending on what was currently in the warehouse at the supply manager, whitewash or red paint. At some times, different parts of the Kremlin were painted in different colors. There are historical paintings drawn by artists in different centuries. The Kremlin was last repainted from white to red in 1947 and has been maintained that way ever since. Painting is ongoing. If you come close to the walls, you can find places that differ in shade from the neighboring ones.
