To start our street food tour in ESKİŞEHİR, we had Turkish breakfast at a very local shop. We tried dishes that we never had for breakfast before such as tahini sauce with grape molasses, sour chili sauce, and a very soft gozleme.
Doyuran Kahvaltı Salonu : İstiklal, Demirciler Sk. No:7/C, 26010 Odunpazarı/Eskişehir
To digest that massive Turkish breakfast, we went for a walk and we saw a gentleman on the street selling freshly squeezed orange juice
And right few steps ahead, we went to the most famous shop to eat ESKİŞEHİR specialty, çiğ börek.
Papağan Çiğbörek : Arifiye, Köprübaşı Cd. Yalbı Sok No:5, 26010 Odunpazarı/Eskişehir
While walking around the local Bazaar, we bumped into a shop selling pumpkin desserts that we never tried before, Çıtır Kabak Tatlısı.
MESHUR BOZACI
Right across the street, we went to the most famous Boza shop to drink this amazing corn fermented drink topped with cinnamon.
Karakedi Bozacısı : Arifiye, Köprübaşı Cd. no:22, 26750 Odunpazarı/Eskişehir
To continue our street food tour in ESKİŞEHİR, we went for lunch to one of the oldest lokantasi in town where they have dishes I had never seen and tried in my life before.
Trakya Lokantası : Deliklitaş, Değirmen Sk. No:10, 26090 Odunpazarı/Eskişehir
To digest all the delicious food we had, went for a walk around the Bazaar, the promenade by Porsuk river and then we got into a leather shop where my wife Sherly, the camera girl, bought a lovely leather jacket. ESKİŞEHİR is well known for that.
Eskişehir Özlem Deri : Hamamyolu Caddesi, Tuğlan Sk No : 10/A, 26000 Odunpazarı/Eskişehir
Moving on with our street food tour, while walking we stopped by a shop selling nuts and other nuts paste and oil. The owner explained to us how they make their oil and he made us try some of their pastes and nuts. It was such an interesting experience.
Haşhaşçı Dedeş : İstiklal, İki Eylül Cd. No:48, 26010 Odunpazarı/Eskişehir
And right next to it, we saw people lining up until we saw mountains of local sweets and we decided to give it a go. We tried Kadayıf Dolması that people really love but unfortunately that wasn’t my case.
Evral Tatlilari : İstiklal, 26010 Odunpazarı/Eskişehir
To end our street food tour in ESKİŞEHİR, we went to try for the very first time the famous Balaban Kebab cooked by a kebab king.
Eskişehir Balaban Kebap Yunus usta : Eskişehir Balaban Kebap Yunus usta

Kasar is a kind of Turkish cheese. We mostly use Kasar as melting cheese. There are good and cheap varieties of Kasar as in everthing. The best one is from the city of Kars.
