SHIBUYA:
Just one stop over from Harajuka on the Yamanote line is Shibuya station, one of Tokyo’s busiest railways stations and gateway to the famous “Shibuya scramble” – when the lights changes, hundreds of people cross this intersection at the same time and you’re swept up in the sea of humanity. The best way of seeing the crossing is from above, and you could spend all day testing out the many surrounding viewpoints
YOYOGI PARK:
And just so you know, we zig zagged across the street like 20 times for fun before getting lost in the city and eventually ending up in the nearby Yoyogi park. The park is one of Tokyo’s largest, and it’s a prime spot to hang out and people watch, especially during the cherry blossom season. We were there in March so we were a little early but luckily we still got a preview. We ending up spending the rest of the day walking around getting a taste of life in #Japan and it’s cast of characters that come out to play on a beautiful and chilly Sunday afternoon. It was absolutely perfect.
Robot restaurant:
Ah yes, the robot restaurant.. Tokyo’s over the top, seizure inducing totally ridiculous, sensory overloaded cabaret show with robots. Go they said, you’ll have a great time they said… but what they failed mention is that the place is located smack dab in the middle of Shinjuku’s red light district, which is a good place to be if you’re a single 20 something out for a night on the town, but not so much if you’re in your married, draped in camera gear and trying to film a #travel documentary. Once we shook that weirdness, we made our way over to the restaurant lobby to pick up our tickets… ordering tickets online is a good way to save a little money if you do decide to come here… oh and you might want to bring earplugs, also don’t have epilepsy.
KARAOKE:
After 14 years of being together, I did what I do best when I want to get my way and have Noah to try new things..I.. slowly… wear… him… down…

yeah janet and me just watched the amazing robot restarurant. how crazy!!!!!! hugs
Awesome video! Both parts have some really cool music in it. 🙂
Another cool video. I suppose that robot dinner was an 18+ kind of place. Well, just means I'll need to go to Tokyo again!
hahahahah
Never seen Noah look more out of his comfort zone than in Harajuku….
Thumbs up for all ur videos but please don't make us wait for entire week 😭
Coming from the Mongolia Videos to this is….interesting!
Really good videos again! Keep it up!
I'd be on your side Noah, Harajuku is nothing for men, especially grown men (I mean in the sense of space to move, not childish, because all men are)
And that restaurant is absolutely not my taste, too loud, too much going on!
That made me giggle and go, "What the hell is that?!" a ton.
Wow. Japan may be considered weird but it sure looks like a really fun place
It's frigging awesome!!! I was gutted when it finished😞 I sooo want to go there😀
I remember taking a photo of my wife in our honeymoon in Shibuya crossing when this unknown male came up to us demanding my camera saying that I took a photo of him without his permission….There was like a million people there…I was thinking…u must be kidding right….Fun times….great memories….I think…..hehe
Such good work as always . The beard mannequin is too funny and the stuff you shoot always leaves me wondering …like 6:04 and for just a second at 9:54 i thought the vid was taking an extreme turn but nope just mics . salud!
You two are absolutely inspiring! I've got two boys (5 and 2) you can borrow anytime so my Wife and I can follow your lead and do a little bit of traveling. They are both hafu if that makes a difference. I am a little disappointed that you guys didn't mention Hachiko while at the Shibuya Station, it is a great story.
I started watching this video while eating dinner. I completely forgot about eating a few minutes in. lol This shit is surreal! 😀
I think I will have to go to Japan! This looks amazing! I think I'll work in oz for a year and try hey to Japan afterwards! Great vid guys!!! 😊x
That was awesome!!! 😀

Yoyogi park is something everyone should visit when in Tokyo. The rockabilly people are fun. I filmed them too. And that del tongo guy
Lucky you! I'm 15 and studying Japanese already 2 years, and my dream is to come to Japan. Really like your channel, it's so motivating, every video is interesting and funny 🙂
Great video, the Human League scene was the best!
I thought all the episodes were great and I loved the choice of music throughout, Japan is my dream destination.
Currently watching the Vietnam episodes now, addicted. If you need any music check out my soundcloud site if you want, thanks!
Man the ending …with Robot cafe + Karaoke and THAT MUSIC … makes me cry …lol
How much of this stuff ends up in a land fill?
You guys should be on TV. Downright hilarious and fun. How did you get the Japanese script? What a cool twist.
i appreciate you guys doing this.. i am going to japan in May!
Awesome video mate! Love every bit of it. Am going to Japan myself and your videos are getting me hyped up! What camera do you use to record and what editing software do you use?

Binge watching your videos!!… your stuff is seriously good.
ONE DIRECTION
Can't wait to go next month! Got sumo wrestling tickets and everything 🙂
Just found you guys (excuse the liberty) and I have to say, I was captivated by your description right off and then your being so in sync with each other and then by your most enjoyable video. And then I checked out your YT history. You are both nothing short of amazing and entertaining. You've done what most of us only wish they could do. I only have one question (actually I've several hundred, but they'll keep): when is the book coming? Or better yet, the NAT GEO or TRAVEL CHANNEL documentary? Be a shame you don't do SOMETHINGS to share the fun and your adventures. Looking forward to seeing your others.
So incredible. Doesn't get much better than this.
Did you do that all in one day? great video btw!
just discovered your videos. heading to Tokyo at the end of july to immerse myself. one question though, did you get any strange reactions to the beard? I've heard that it can viewed as "unhygienic" of sorts in Japan. not keen on shaving mine off though
expecially.
You guys are so much fun! Loved watching all of your Japan series & looking forward to binge watching some more of your travel videos <3
Absolutely loving this! You guys are pure relationship goals. <3
Its the Human League. I recognise that tune
It's interesting that the Japan and Mongolia series were released back to back, because the editing in them was so different. In the Japan series, the intercutting of the karaoke with the robot restaurant footage was some of the most inspired and creative editing I've seen. But in the Mongolia series, the editing became virtually invisible. It disappeared. And all that remained was the story. And that's probably the biggest compliment I can give about editing.
You two are super cute!
