I’m trying Orchard area’s most popular chicken rice, Lucky Chicken Rice. Located on the 2nd level of Lucky Plaza, this chicken rice stall attracts many tourists and locals alike. This is my review of Lucky chicken rice.

Tiantian has one of the worst chicken rice around, no soup, only flat salty notes from its soy sauce. Highly overrated.

Maybe next livestream Ojisan can bring us to chatterbox to try their chicken rice and lobster laksa? Heard it is one of the earliest pioneer of chicken rice.
Tried it last time when I happened to pass by. It tastes average towards bland side to be honest. My father also commented that it's meh.. I think people choose this because of the price point in Orchard. Tian Tian is not majority of locals' favourite too.
Chatterbox not worth trying. Lucky Plaza chicken is ok only and expensive.
There are actually several places to try for lunch if you are at that area within that budget….only 5-7 min walk away

– orchard tower nasi padang…Chopstix & Rice… (b1 just beside the stairs from street level)
Hi Ghib san, I work around Orchard Road, I ate this chicken rice once and gave the rating as 3 out of 10 points. The price was high and the rice tasteless, I think I can cook better than this lucky plaza chicken rice. Don't waste your money you can eat better chicken rice at normal HDB local stall. Those chicken rice lovers would not appreciate their chicken rice.
