Last Days of our World Bicycle Tour | Cycling the World

Beautiful but bitterly cold weather directs us to finally head home. After a rainy afternoon we find ourselves in a little village just outside Amsterdam and are welcomed by a lovely lady who grants us a place in her garden to stay our last night. In the morning she surprises us and makes the start of our last day unforgettable. A final push through undiscovered corners of our home province take us back to where it all started!

  1. I can hear the sadness in your voices as this chapter comes to a close. It is always the same and it is an unavoidable truth that all good things come to an end. The sadness of loss will sting for a while as your hearts feel empty and longing for what was. But what is this feeling of emptiness only space for the new to come in.
Rest well lovely E and M, recharge your batteries, eat well, strengthen your bodies (and the bank accounts) and then my friends, we will be ready for when the road opens up again.
Much love to you guys for your excellent, quality content and for bringing us along on your adventure. You are an inspiration.
My plans to walk the PCT in the US have been put on the backburner for at least another year and my feet are screaming at me to get moving. So, as soon as continental Europe opens up to us Irish I am going to walk the camino de santiago from my home town of Dublin. I am hoping that this will be about April. Fingers crossed.
So, welcome home you super human beings and I look forward to seeing you in the future. Michael from Ireland

I hut then couldn´t seead the ame last April, when Ifinally managed to get a flight back from USA, but then couldn´t see my daughter or any friends until nearly a month later, as we had had such a strict lockdown in Spain.
