Newly Open Halal Indonesian Restaurant in Japan “Warung Mahal”: To Ease Homesick blues of Indonesian Workers in Kesennuma, Japan

Alhamdullilah, July 26th, 2019 marked the opening of Halal Indonesian restaurant in Kesennuma, Miyagi, Japan. Warung Mahal is the name of the restaurant. It is a very interesting name because of Bhs. Indonesia Warung Mahal means an Expensive Shop/Restaurant. But don’t worry about the naming, the food price actually very reasonable. And it could also mean (Warung MAkanan HAlal) or Halal Foods Restaurant

There are many Indonesian trainees living around Kesennuma, Indonesian workers becoming one of the factors that support the industry in Kesennuma city over the years. For the mutual exchange and appreciation of this matter, an Indonesian restaurant was open, the owner said that with this restaurant, hopefully, it can ease and help Indonesian workers in Kesennuma overcome “The Homesick” feeling.
