  2. I was robbed in Portland, Jamaica. I still think Portland is a Paradise. Yes, once you are a teacher in Japan, you are respected by the community. You cannot get caught misbehaving around town. You need to act as a role model all the time. Watch out.

  10. Use of pain medication among that culture is a sign of weakness and indeed, they do not use medication for pain; far removed from the American culture where these medications are readily offered.
