今回は小樽市手宮にあります縄文時代の
史跡である「手宮洞窟」に来てみました。
こちらはおよそ1600年前の縄文時代の史跡で、
かつては「手宮の古代文字」として知られて
いましたが、その後の研究で文字ではなく絵画
だったと判明したということで、1995年に現在の
手宮洞窟保存館として整備されております。
洞窟ということで中は真っ暗なんですが、各所に
設置された説明パネルのボタンを押していくと
解説のランプが点灯したり動画が再生されたりと、
結構「博物館らしい」体裁になっているかと思います。
ちなみに中は結構暗いので、外に出た時明るさの
ギャップでクラクラする場合もありますので、
ご来場の際はご注意頂ければと思います。
