Made it to Osaka, Japan, our number one bucket list in the world! We’ve been wanting to come here for the best part of our lives and we’ve finally done it! First, we picked up our pocket wifi so we won’t get lost, and headed on to our first train experience, and what a pleasant ride. Clean, punctual, and a massive system that can get you anywhere unlike the transit here in Toronto.
Arrived in Abeno Harukas, and bought our first vending machine drink and headed up to the observation deck which is FREE on the 27th floor. If you want to go to the very top, you have to pay $20 CAD which we opted out of since we didn’t think it was worth it.
After that we visited the Owl Cafe in Nipponbashi. Interacting with these creatures of the night was an unreal experience. They were all ready to pounce on my microphone that looked like a rodent. And we were a bit scared but realized they are very kind creatures.
Later that evening, we tried a variety of street food and had conveyor belt sushi for dinner. A great start to our Japan adventure! Stay tuned for more!
